Update to Team Historical Seasons FAQ

The FAQ will be updated.

FAQ

• Once a team is connected to other teams, the name/tag is locked.
• The auto joining of players during team creation is only allowed for teams in the same league, and from the last six months.
• Team connections should be with teams of the same name. Variations of a team name may be changed to a single team name in order to be linked. We want to promote consistency.

Global Rule Updates

[1004.1] - Punitive Action toward Players, [1008.7.1] - Match Forfeits, [1008.15] - Match Points, and [2007] - Match Points have been updated to match the new scoring system for Highlander.



[1003.3] - Game Exploits has been updated to clarify mods and exploits that are disallowed by the RGL AC team.


[1008.3] - Rescheduling Matches has been updated to address edge cases where teams would try to "sneak" in reschedules without making a reasonable attempt to inform the other team about a reschedule.


[1006.2.5] - Sandbagging and Class Restriction Guidelines is not adding anything new, but is being updated to better clarify how class restrictions are handled for qualifier teams.

Bans

These bans were enacted before the release of this article. If you would like to file a report, you can do so on our site here. Appeals can also be found on the same page.

NOTE: We only look at user-submitted reports. If you do not file a report, then there is a good chance we have not seen it and cannot deal with the situation.

Ban Evasion / Alting

The following player(s) attempted to register their alternate account in RGL.

• popopopopopop | Shouko - 6-months
• yare | Someb0dy - Permanent (3rd league ban evasion in RGL)

Probation

The following players have been banned and placed on probation:

• Buttface - Use of racist slurs and comments, as well as an inappropriate alias during an RGL match. - 2-months
• DoofedUpWiener - Repeated use of racist slurs and comments during an RGL match. - 3-months

Update on the player(s) that have been banned while on probation:

• Toe - Violation of [1002.4.2] - Permanently banned players in a scrimmage - 11-months (4th ban inside on RGL, 1st ban on probation)
• semiperf - Continued use of homophobic, racist, and vulgar language during a scrim. - Permanent (2nd ban inside of RGL, 1st ban on probation)
• sandstoner - Doxxing member(s) of the community. - Permanent (6th ban inside on RGL, 3rd ban on probation)

After the minimum period has been served, the player(s) can appeal to have the ban lifted if they can show that they've improved themselves and how they interact within the community.

League

• bloofus - Violation of [1002.4.2] - Permanently banned players in a scrimmage. - 1-week
• ADDION - Violation of [1002.4.2] - Permanently banned players in a scrimmage. - 1-week
• starstar - Violation of [1002.4.2] - Permanently banned players in a scrimmage (2x). Delayed ban for the start of Sixes Season 9. - 2-Weeks
• roddy - Doxxing member(s) of the community. - 1-year
• marcp - Doxxing member(s) of the community. - 1-year

Sportsmanship and Spirit

The following player(s) have/had been suspended for 1-6 weeks for their usage of racist slurs, homophobic or transphobic language, excessive toxicity, flaming, or derogatory language on our platforms. Repeat offenders will get longer ban lengths.

• JuiceBoxoi - Use of a racist alias during a scrim. Offseason ban delayed for HL Season 12. ​- 2-Weeks / First Offense
• horsiemcsugarcube - Use of a racial slur and homophobic language during a scrim. ​- 2-Weeks / First Offense

Demos

The following player(s) have failed to provide a requested demo. The first offense during the regular season will be a warning. A second offense during the regular season or the first offense during playoffs will lead to suspensions.

• ben - Failure to Submit Demos: 2nd Offense - 2-weeks

VAC Ban

The following account(s) has been banned for having VAC bans that may be affecting TF2. If you have a VAC ban for a game that is not TF2, please contact an admin to get the ban removed.
