Contacting an Admin

Be sure to check through the Global Rules and 6s Specific Rules before contacting an admin.

The best way to contact an admin at match time is to create a support ticket in the RGL.gg Discord. Someone will be with you as soon as they can.

I need a ringer

Ringers can commonly be found in the #6s-ringers channel in the RGL.gg Discord (you will need the 6s role in #recruitment-and-scrims-setup).

In paid divs make sure your ringer has either paid a div fee that season, or is paid up for the match using the "Sub/Ringer Payment" tab on the match page.

If you are unsure if a player is able to be used as a ringer please consult [1009.4] - Ringers before contacting an admin. A maximum of 2 players per team in a match may be ringers.

Server Help

If you need a match server RGL can provide one to use for your match, reach out to an admin if you need one. Servers can commonly be found on Qixalite or serveme.

Setting up a server:

Do not give out the RCON password to others!
IMPORTANT: Anyone who has access to the RCON password can potentially maliciously affect the server. The home team (who was given the server) is responsible for protecting the RCON password. Do not share it with the other team.

Connecting to the Server's RCON
rcon_address [server ip:port]
rcon_password xxxx

Executing the match config

For 5cp
1st half - rcon exec rgl_6s_5cp_match_half1
2nd half - rcon exec rgl_6s_5cp_match_half2
Golden cap - rcon exec rgl_6s_5cp_gc

For KoTH
rcon exec rgl_6s_koth

Changing maps

IMPORTANT: Make sure to execute the config before changing the map. If you execute the config after changing the map, STV will not be set up properly and will not show up in spec.

rcon changelevel [map name]
The full map name can be found on the match page.

Other Commands
rcon kick "X" - Kicks a player by name in server
rcon kickid [Steam ID] kicks player by user ID

Non-RCON Commands
status - Lists the name and IDs of all the players currently connected to the server. This can be used in conjunction with the "Verify Players" tab on your match page to check that all the players in the server are properly registered on RGL, and are who they say they are.

pause - A pause is used when a player is disconnected in the middle of a match or is having technical difficulties. Typing pause in console will pause the game, allowing the player to reconnect. Once the player reaches the "Retrieving server info..." stage, make sure to type unpause in console to allow the player to get back in the game.

Connect Info

Please do not post connect info in match comms, DM it to the opposing team's leader

Getting the connection info is very easy. It looks like
connect [ip address:port]; password [password]

For example, lets say the servers ip was: sigafootf1.game.nfoservers.com:27015
And the password that you set was :bootypirate
Remember: The password is the server password (sv_password) NOT the rcon password!

The connect info would be:
connect sigafootf1.game.nfoservers.com:27015; password bootypirate
