Register Now For Season 5

The 6s post-season survey is now up! This survey is one of our most important tools for improving the league and gauging the community's opinions, so please take a few minutes to complete it here and help us continue to improve RGL.

RGL Season 4 6s Postseason Survey

Registration for RGL 6s season 5 is now open, and will close on Friday, January 15th. Preliminary team placements will occur starting the 16th, which will be finalized by the 24th in time for the first match on the 26th. This extra week is to address feedback that in past seasons, teams were finding out their division immediately before the season start, and had a hard time making any needed adjustments.

The full season dates are below:

  • January 15th- New team registration closes
  • January 24th- Division placements finalized, division fee payment deadline, week 1 matches scheduled
  • January 26th- Regular Season Begins
  • March 7th- Rosters lock
  • March 18th- Last default match day of regular season
  • March 21st- Last possible day for regular season matches
  • March 30th- Playoffs begin
  • April 25th- Last possible date for playoff matches.

Season 5 will carry over most of Season 4's specifics, with the map pool (using updated versions based on feedback) and whitelist remaining the same. Our big change this season is to focus on a larger Invite, while combining Div-1 and Div-2 back into Advanced. Teams forming in the high Advanced to low Invite area should be aware that having the top 8-10 teams in Invite will take precedence over a team's desired division for placements.

How to find a team to join

Finding a team is not hard, but it does require you to put in a little effort.

New Players to Competitive:

We encourage you to make a post in the websites Looking For Team (LFT) section and also post in our Discord #lft channel.

You should also contact leaders of teams who need a player. You can find them listed in the Teams Looking for Players (LFP) section and also the LFP section of our Discord #lfp channel.

Experienced Players to Competitive:

We particularly encourage you to make a thread on the RGL 6s LFT forums section. This will allow you to advertise yourself to higher profile teams.

Browsing the LFP section of the forums will also present you with many teams that are looking to recruit players.
