yomp's family fundraiser structure

Thank you to the 105 teams who signed up for the yomps' family fundraiser tournament! Due to the number of teams, we've broken down the tournament into 8 divisions of about 9-16 teams. Tournament Details

General


The winning team should report scores asap on the RGL match page so the next round can be scheduled. For any match disputes or matches that would start late, put a message in the #help-and-feedback channel in the RGL discord and an admin will reach out to you to resolve the issue.

Servers can be provided by either team, but responsibility defaults to the home team to provide one. Cup servers can be requested in the RGL discord in the #server-request channel. Match comms on the RGL site are publicly visible, and should not be used for connect info. Contact the other team through steam or discord, or reach out to the admin team if you are unable to

If your match is being casted, the production team will provide the server

Friday

Teams should aim to start matches as early as 6 est to ensure the tournament moves smoothly
Round 1 - cp_process_final - 6:15 est
Round 2 - cp_gullywash_final1 - 7:00 est
Round 3 - cp_snakewater_final1 - 7:45 est
Round 4 - cp_sunshine - 8:30 est

Matches will be played with time limit 30 and round limit 5. Ties are allowed. The rgl_6s_5cp_scrim has the correct settings and should be already exec'd on all provided servers.

To setup the server exec these commands

Saturday


Round 1 - Pick/Ban Bo3 - 6:00pm est
Round 2 - Pick/Ban Bo3 - 7:30pm est
Round 3 - Pick/Ban Bo3 - 9:00pm est
Grand Finals - Pick/Ban Bo5 - 10:30pm est

For the GF Bo5, the home team will start with a one map advantage. Meaning they only need to win 2 maps to win the finals, the away team will need to win 3 maps to win the finals.

Note that these start times are tentative and may go faster or slower depending on how long matches are. Playoffs can only move forward as fast as their slowest match.

IF YOUR TEAM IS NOT ABLE TO MAKE SATURDAY, please contact an admin as early as possible.
For each division, the top 4 teams will play a double-elimination bracket. Teams 5-12 will play a single-elimination consolation bracket.

Each bracket match will be played as a best of 3 with one half each map. Ties are not allowed. A 15-minute golden cap (rcon mp_roundlimit 1;rcon mp_timelimit 15) will be played if a map is tied after 30 minutes. If neither team wins the golden cap, the map will go to the team in control of the midpoint.

Tiebreakers

We will be using the same rules as traditional sixes

If there is a tie in record, teams are then sorted by:
1) A ratio of rounds won to rounds played.
2) Head to Head if teams have played prior in the season
3) followed by Strength of Schedule (Median-Bucholz, Sonneborn-Berger, Tiebreaker Score).
