Registration for RGL Highlander Season 19 is now open! The new team registration deadline is
Sep 18th at 11:59 PM EDT. If this article is too long and you didn't read it, the most important thing to note (other than the dates) is that Invite, Advanced, and Main will now all be paid divisions with league fees,
Anti-Cheat (AC) Sustainability Support, and ringer fees. Keep reading to find out more.

League Fees
Starting this season in Highlander, Invite, Advanced, and Main will be paid divisions. This means that in order to play in a match in these divisions, you must either be "paid-up" for that division or pay a ringer fee. "Paid-up" means that you have either paid the player fee for that division or you have paid a combination of ringer fees and player fees equal to the total player fee of that division. The price of these fees is listed below.
Player FeesInvite: $20 League + $0 LAN + $2 AC = $22 Player Fee
Advanced: $15 League + $0 LAN + $2 AC = $17 Player Fee
Main: $10 League + $0 LAN + $2 AC = $12 Player Fee
Ringer FeesInvite: $3 Ringer Fee
Advanced: $2 Ringer Fee
Main: $1 Ringer Fee
The last season's winning Advanced, Main, and Intermediate teams will receive
$5 discounts to their league fee for their current players if they move up to the next division or higher and retain 6 of the 9 starters from the previous season on the current team.In order to be scheduled for your Week 1 match,
7 players on your team must be paid-up by Wednesday, September 25th @ 11:59 PM EDT. Afterwards, you must have 9 players paid up to continue the season by Wednesday, October 2nd @ 11:59 PM EDT.
Division Structure
As it now stands, Invite and Advanced will have 8 spots this season with at least one spot reserved for qualifier teams if needed. The regular season for Invite and Advanced will span 7 weeks with an 8-team round-robin. Invite and Advanced playoffs will be played as a 4-team double-elimination.
Main will be Swiss as usual with a playoffs structure dependent on the division's team count after rosters lock.
Qualifiers
If Invite and/or Advanced Qualifiers are needed this season, they will be
Sep 21st - Sep 23rd. The Invite, Advanced, and Main staff teams will be analyzing scrim results and player/team history to determine the teams that are best suited to play in Qualifiers. However, you may also contact your division admins if your team would like to be considered for Qualifiers.
Teams will be notified if they are in Qualifiers on or before Sep 19th.
Teams that sign up to play in Invite and Advanced and top Main teams should be prepared to play in Qualifiers.Team Logos
Starting in the Fall 2024 seasons, all teams in paid divisions will have the opportunity to submit team logos!
At this time, you may NOT request for a logo to be created by the Graphics Team, so you must create and submit your own logo. If you submit a logo that does not follow the given requirements, your team will have exactly
one chance to correct these mistakes. Should you submit an invalid logo again, you will be barred from having a logo for the remainder of the season.
Team leaders will be sent the link by a division admin to submit logos when their team is readied for the season with 9 paid-up players. The requirements for the logos will also be given at that time.
The deadline to submit team logos is the Friday after the default date of your Week 1 match at 11:59 PM EDT.
So for Highlander, that date will be October 4th at 11:59 EDT.
