Fall Staff Departures
- virgil, Scream, heks, and Fleskore have stepped down from their positions on the 6s Staff team. camp3r will be inactive until further notice to focus on real life responsibilities.
- Constantly and asian will be stepping down from their positions on the HL Staff team.
Staff lists for both HL and 6s are still being finalized and will be announced in a future article.
Global Rule Updates
[1006.2.5] - Sandbagging and Class Restrictions has been updated to specify the new maximum capacity of class-restricted players for both 6s and HL (previously 6 in HL and 4 in 6s). In 6s, sniper now counts to this total limit.
[1008.8] - Score Submission has been updated to clarify the responsibility of posting the match log and results fall on the team providing the match server.
[1009.4.3] - Default Ringers has been updated to clarify that players remain eligible to default ring in a division that they were in as long as they do not roster on a team in a higher division.
[1008.9] - Pauses has been updated to clarify that using the "repause" command does not count towards the number of pauses initiated in a half. An additional clarification has been added to clarify that either team can unpause, but the other team must be notified before the unpause.
[1006.1] - Team Names, Tags, and Avatar has been updated to specify that team names, tags, or avatars must receive explicit approval from an established company or brand regardless of whether they operate in the TF2 scene.
[3001.7] - Forfeits and Penalties has been updated to specify that either team has the option of rescheduling a forfeited match before the end of the regular non-Invite Season.
[1004.11.1] - Offseason Bans has been updated to specify that players with offseason bans cannot participate in qualifiers of any format.
[3001.8] - Pauses has been updated to clarify that teams are allowed two pauses per map for both Control Point and King of the Hill in 6s.
[1008.7.1] - Match Forfeits has been rewritten to clarify how match forfeits work in formats using match points and win/loss. Additional clarifications have been added to specify the process if a rescheduled date/time cannot be agreed upon before the end of the regular season deadline.
